A juxtaposition of classic and cool in a Victorian setting. I was inspired by the 60s and how women were just coming into their own during these years. I combined the look of James Dean & Audrey Hepburn, spiced and sliced with Twiggy.

Romeo & Juliet

The scene was set. Inspired by the 1996 Baz Luhrman, ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and 90s religion. We wanted it to scream teen angst and Catholic religion, but not stuck up.

The Zodiac Collection

A spin-off of our Spring 2021 Alien Collection, this was my interpretation of each Zodiac Sign. I wanted them to all carry a certain vibe and personality. I wanted the viewer to see themselves in their zodiac pair. See the full collection Here.

As Above So Below

The Alien Collection ‘As Above, So Below’ (shown above) was the inspired by the creation of humankind. Where did we come from? And is Greek Mythology real? A mixture of space exploration, The Gods, and Alien conspiracies. I imagined other-worldly creatures, with vintage, and modern day style. See the entire collection HERE.

We wanted to create the carefree lifestyle of the California expat. Very cool, very relaxed, and effortless.

The Vintage Bride

An ode to Old Hollywood, combined with the melancholy mood from ‘Great Expectations’. We wanted to express the sadness inside a new bride. Her uncertainty, her ego, her boredom.

The 90s

The 90s collection, shown above, was inspired by the 90s music, movies, and icons we loved so much. Meena pulled looks from famous movies like ‘Clueless’, the documentary ‘The Last Dance’, and musicians like Missy Elliot.

The 60s Collection

Inspired by vintage Japanese art, English gardens, and Art Deco. We combined all three of these inspirations to create this 60s Mod collection. Using strong shapes, muted colors, and asian inspired decor to bring this juxtaposition to life.

This photoshoot took place in the beginning of the pandemic. Itching to create, I wanted this to feel like we transported to another place. Even though it was in my living room.

Holiday

One of the first “collections'“ for my brand Vintage Royalty. This is the time when I refined my storytelling and told my personal story a little bit more.

This was inspired by vintage Parisian style. Chic, bold, yet simple. We used deep pinks and purples to keep a cohesive look throughout.
